We Love What We Do

To our Clients, Employees, and Community,

Landscaping is more than a “green industry” or “pulling weeds from the garden” type of job. Landscaping is inspiring. Landscaping brings the most out of your outdoor experience while sharing it with family, friends, and neighbors. We strive to help you envision your property in a whole new way. The most enjoyable part of our work is when our vision is transformed into your reality. Seeing you smile for the first time when you come home to see your muddy patch of yard transformed into a unique, eye-catching, and neighbor-asking beauty is the greatest reward.

Your Personal Gardener & Arborist is a company of people that share the same enthusiasm and hard work ethic to meet and exceed your expectations. For the last 10 years, our Veteran owned and employed team has channeled our combined experiences and passion to provide detailed, high quality landscape construction, and landscape maintenance services to the residential, commercial, municipal, and governmental communities of Southeast Wisconsin and Northern IL. Together we feel very privileged to be a part of your piece of land.

"I'm so happy I found YPGA! They not only did an exceptional job on my tree installs, they also helped me understand what the best options are for my area to avoid losing trees to pests and disease. Their crew is so friendly and the owners are all about education and quality. A few months after install, they even came back and checked on the trees, straightened a few stakes, and gave me some helpful summer tips for care. They are my go-to landscaper for now on. They really care about what they do and it shows."  - Steph M.

"Rare Find. Passion for the work combined with business ethic and neighborly customer service. We had a kind of a large project involving a fallen tree over a fence and dead trees that had the potential to damage the house in a big storm. We live in a very wooded and hilly area so a bit complicated to get to the trouble spots. The quoting process included a visit from the owner, James, followed by a detailed quote and the work started the next day the weather cooperated. Despite challenges in getting to the trouble spots and unexpected challenges in the removal, the crew, and crew chief, Alex, stayed with the job for 3 days to complete and asked how to help in cleanup, kept us informed and took pride in the quality of work. Nimble, professional, and committed. The right people with the right equipment with the right attitude."     Kevin D.

What Customers Say

"The landscaping around our house really needed an update. The bushes and shrubs were 70 years old and were very scraggly. After I contacted James & Natalie at Your Personal Gardener, they came out to share some ideas of what they could do for us. We added some input, and ended up with hydrangeas and lavender all around the house. It looks lovely! They also filled in grass seed where we had a bunch of trees taken down. While here, Audrey, one of the gardeners, got talking with us about taking out the big, overgrown bush near the highway. We ended up replacing it with a birch tree, surrounded by chokecherry bushes. At the last minute we decided to add some lavender to tie it in to what is around the house. We are so pleased with how everything turned out!"  - Joanne
