We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive, heavy equipment, medium equipment, light equipment, and trailer repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. This role requires proficiency in various mechanical systems, including hydraulics, and the capability to perform heavy lifting. Our mechanics work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that vehicles are safe and reliable for our customers.
What You'll Do:

Inspect trucks, trailers, and equipment to identify mechanical issues.
-
Diagnose and repair automotive, trailer, hydraulic, and mechanical systems using professional tools and diagnostic equipment.

Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.
-
Repair or replace worn or damaged components with a focus on quality and reliability.
-
Complete tire mounting, balancing, rotations, and other routine maintenance.
-
Repair electrical components and solder connections when needed.
-
Maintain organized service records and document completed repairs.
What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a mechanic or equipment technician.

Strong knowledge of automotive, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

Ability to troubleshoot problems and develop effective repair solutions.

Comfortable using power tools, shop equipment, and diagnostic technology.

As a Plant Health Care (PHC) Technician at Your Personal Gardener & Arborist, you'll play a vital role in protecting and improving the health of our clients' trees, shrubs, lawns, and landscapes. Using an integrated approach to plant health, you'll help diagnose issues, prevent problems before they start, and apply treatments that keep landscapes healthy, vibrant, and thriving for years to come.
What You'll Do:

Herbicide, pesticide, fungicide, and fertilizer applications.

Lawn fertilization and broadleaf weed control.

Integrated Pest Management (IPM) for insects, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies.

Core aeration and overseeding.

Your Personal Gardener & Arborist is looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our team as Snow & Ice Technicians for the upcoming winter season. This is a seasonal, on-call position that is a great opportunity for anyone looking to earn extra money during the winter months. No snow removal experience? That's okay! While previous plowing experience is a plus, we train our employees and are willing to teach the right person.
For someone looking for more than seasonal work, this position may also provide the opportunity to transition into a full-time, year-round role with YPGA in landscaping, lawn care, plant health care, or other opportunities.
What You'll Do:

Plowing residential driveways

Plowing commercial parking lots and properties
-
Shoveling sidewalks, walkways, entrances, and other areas

Applying salt and other ice-control materials
-
Performing pre- and post-storm property checks as assigned

Safely operating company trucks, plows, snow blowers, spreaders, and other equipment

Following assigned snow routes and communicating with team leads throughout each event
-
Completing work thoroughly and efficiently, even during overnight, early-morning, weekend, and holiday snow events

Following all YPGA safety procedures and taking care of company equipment

Seasonal Availability
This position requires mandatory on-call availability throughout the snow season. Snow and ice events are unpredictable, so technicians must be prepared to work when conditions require service, including overnight and early-morning hours.
